how and why would this happen and how to fix?
blows only cold through front heater and defroster vents but hot from the back.

The hoses are "T"d, if one doesnt work, then the heater core, in that one is bad, or?

From what I understand from my mechanic. My 01 needs a new motor that actuates the heat and cold flapper. If you mess with it enough, moving it back and forth, it might heat up.
