My wifes passenger window wont roll down. Took everything apart to find out that when i hit the switch to roll down the window there is no noise in the connection at the motor. But when the "up" position on the switch is engaged, there is a noise similar to what the working windows make in "full up" position. So im assuming that the motor is getting power to roll up the window, but when you go to roll it down there is nothing. Is this just the master switch? I've heard about these windows not rolling up from motor problems but never not rolling DOWN!?

thats not a fix the problem will come back servicing guide rails and motor change required.you have to grease the rails tefflon guides ride in they get rusty dried out from old lubericates and rain going through the door.older the car gets more they leak water and other enviroment elements such as leaves tigs etc etc etc.stay tune for moreproblems its a G.M. NOTED FOR ELECTRIC WINDOW PROBLEM.
