Driving me nuts, 1990 olds car v6 starts runs great. Now after driving on the highway say 15 minutes when I sloww down(exit) it stalls out. Starts right back up.I just put a new battery in it . I'm pretty sure nothing got unplugged. Any help would be great

Check for vacuum leaks, fuel trims will adjust to a constant leak during highway driving, then when you go back to idle, it can't compensate fast enough to keep idle up. You may also want to check for a slow reacting EGR valve. you can unplug the EGR solinoid to test that.
