1991 buick regal

Hi,

I have a 91 buick regal I have been through 4 transmissions. on all 4 when i drive it goes into second but when it goes into third it wont pull but if I start off and mash the pedal a little it pulls fine can anyone help me notify the problem?

4 transmissions with the same problem. either the shop is ripping you off or its not the trans itself that's the problem but something causing it to act that way. is it auto or manual.

itz auto I only been to the shop one time and datz when the first one did that after that the last 3 i have and datz including the one thats in there now have came from a junkyard but the cars they have came out of were in good shape im also thinking itz a problem outside of the transmission.

yeah its odd to have 4 trains with the same problem. do they work good then go bad in the same amount off time. i would look at what controls the trains (torq converter solenoid computer)something might not be adjusted correctly.
