my problem is it is sometimes hard to start sometimes not. I get about a mile or so down the road and it stalls out, what's up?????

Could it be overheating?

Now that you mentioned that, it seems to run pretty close to the red (temperature gauge). And my eletro fans don't work but they work I by-passed the sending unit and jumped them to the battery and they both work fine..
