I am having trouble installing a use transmission. Is there a special trick to getting the torque converter to seat properly. 724-283-1424

To seat the torque converter is to line up the flat or cut out piece at the end of the TC with the ones in the tranny, a flast light will help u see.

And if it does not go all the way in, turn it with light pressure until it goes in .

this car is noted for this wander why chrysler is going out of business.this tranny will fail again.its is a mitibushi engine and tranny.its in dodge caravan plymouth voyager also.to light to put in american car bodies including vans.when the tranny failed the first time you should have junk the car.this will be a reacurring problem.and it aint over yet what till electrical problems begain.ignition switch ,alternator,wipers on and on and on.get the drift.
