About last week my check engine light came on. The two codes that appeared were P1381 and p1383. P1381 deals with the oil so I had Oil Express change my oil. I reset the computer and that code did not re appear but the 1383 did appear. The code is over-retarded camshaft timing. I changed my oil again this time by myself and the first quart of oil drained was as black as coffee. I fail to understand how i can have my oil changed one day and 2 days later it is already dirty. My dad said that it could have something to do with my oil pump not circulating oil. I also looked at the timing belt and it is missing some teeth and it is a little loose. Any suggestions? I need a lot of HELP!

Welcome to the forum,, DANtheMAN24

Yes, those missing teeth at your timing belt could have something to do with a faulty oil pump. Could you fix it or let it be fixed and so discover if this solves the problem?
