My 2000 Ford Contour doesn't start at all sometimes...It doesn't turn over...the idiot lights come on in the dash, but no cranking....Then it will eventually start. I'm thinking it's a problem with the starter or the ignition itself and I've heard that Ford made some changes to their Ignition Control Module in these Contours but I really don't know where to begin on this one. What's the most likely problem? What should I test first? Any suggestions? Thanks guys...

change starter, ignition module and starter are two seperate circuits not related to each other.also could be key switch but not likely.
