Can you give more info.

Like when it happens - is the car cold, or wsrm?
Only in the morning, or sitting for so many hours?

I have 2004 Taurus DOHC 3.0L 24 V. Starting problems hot or cold. Intermittent. Put key in--no power. Keeptrying 5 or 6 times some times works some times have to try after 5 minutes or hours. Once it starts its fine. Strangest thing--puttin key in and no electric power.

Sounds like the ignition switch is going bad. - Might be worn out.
