My 2005 Ford Taurus quits while driving. The lights and gauges go out and the car quits. It restarts okay but never kno when it will quit again

Hi Sjwalrath, welcome to the forum Sounds like an intermittent fault which are the hardest to find. I'd advise you to check all the modules for codes, observe the PATS and locks the data stream, to see if there's a fault there.
