My Honda has a spring loaded mirror mounted in the overhead (roof) between the front seats. It's a Push to Release catch. When up, it fits flush. When down, it features a convex mirror giving you a full width view of the rear compartment. A child monitor. Behind the mirror is an empty space. I put a pair of sunglasses there. Either jostled or too long to begin with, the mirror will not drop more than 3/8ths of an inch when it is obstructed. I assume it is my glasses that are catching the device and not letting it drop down.
GOT ANY IDEAS HOW I CAN GET THIS DROP DOWN MIRROR TO WORK WITHOUT BREAKING IT?
Thanks, Don

No. I can see the glasses, but even my little finger will not touch them. Fortunately, the glasses are not expensive sunglasses so I can do without them. I have the mirror taped up to the roof.

i wonder if the glasses are causing the problem. maybe take a flat object with double sided tape and try to get them out and see if the mirror works correctly.
