I have an older magnavox 27" tv. The images are green(people)the rest is purple and orange. It appears to have target pattern with green in the middle. Help.

check thermoresistor on main board where the deguessing coil plugs in. thats the coil around picture tube has two wires.you will see a metal covers wire weaves in and out of the panels.if i remember correctly i think the back plate inside picture tube on this model the welds tacked in corners breaks lose. not repairable because you would have to break the glass tube then its finish.
