Wingnut I think any commercial fiberglass paint removers would do the job. You'd have to apply it a few times though. Then, afterwards, you'll have to sand it.

Earlier I stated my boat is a 24' but I actually believe it is 23' Cuddy 1973 model. I purchased the boat from an elderly gentleman in Tennessee who kept it at his vacation home in Destin, FL. I've been messing around with it off and on for a couple of years now. It has a small v berth up front with a toilet in the V. When I bought the boat it had an AQAD32/270 volvo diesel in it rated at 106HP. I purchased a good used TAMD40B turbo volvo and Duoprop earlier this year and shoe horned it in. It's rated at a 165HP. I should be able to scoot along pretty good and hopefully only sip the diesel. I stripped this boat down to the hull and have basically gone through everything. I'm currently trying to find a hardtop that I can build a half tower for. I'm really not wanting to build a fiberglass top from scratch. I don't have any problem tigging up the frame. Hopefully late this spring I'll have some shake down runs under my belt and I can sneek out for some Kings next summer.

Sounds nice I wish I had diesels, I have a 1970 27' hardtop without any flybridge or tower. It has two stright 6 cyl. gas with mercruiser out drives. burns about 12 gals. a hour @ 20 knots.
I'll try to email the picture of the emblem tonight. Hey where do you live ?

Parts are problematic. We have a 29' Miami and have had to fabricate rudders because we could not find any parts.
The boat is very Sea worthy and can take a lot of water, I think they were noted for their blue water capabilities.

Toddy - might you be able to send or post a photo of your 29 Miami? Do you have any info you can share ?
I have what I believe to be a 28 ft. - I have photos posted in this topic earlier. I have been trying to get any information on this boat and/or the company.
Mine has twin Crusaders ( originaly had OMCs I think ) and is V drive with a universal shaft set-up. Very smooth - no vibration at all.
