New here so here goes.
I've got a Hitachi 50" VG825. Everything was great until I GENTLY moved it to another room. Now the screen is slanted down to the left. It's about a half an inch lower on the left. The banners that run on the bottom of the screen make it very noticeable. I called in service to look at it (thank god for my extended warranty) the guy told me it was the cabinet that was warped over time and he couldnt do much to it. HUH? That can't possibly be right, at least I hope not. Any ideas???

I douht the cabinet is warped although is is possible.what I have seen on some of the sony rear projection lcd.when the t.v.sits in the same position for a while the plastic settles.take your left hand and put it in the top left corner of the t.v. then take your right hand and put it up in the right corner and twist the plastic frame you can see the picture bow and flex because its bouncing of the mirror in the back.just keep flexing the plastic until the picture staightens out.give it a try

Thanks i'll try that. I hadn't noticed it until I moved it. We were very careful with no issues when we moved it, but when your carrying something that big and wide I guess maybe it could have flexed the cabinet. Kinda hard to believe it's not something engineered to be more stable for moving.

Thanks again
