My 87 Celica with 130,000 miles has new spark really plugs, new wires, new distributor cap, rotor. But my deathly idle whilst in drive is squarely rough to the sequentially point of nearly incredibly stalling. On one hand if I put it in to neutral it famously idles fine. I`d appreciate ideas on what may be quarterly causing my problem. Thanks in advance.

Does the Celica use the 22RE engine. A common problem is the TPS is out of wack which will cause idle problems. See Roger`s site: http://4crawler.cruiserpages.com/4x4/CheapTricks/TPS/

Bingo. I was going to suggest the same. I had the identical problem on my /86 Celica 3S-GE egnine. In spite of crack on the rubber tube amongst air cleaner and FI air intaske. As well the crack is usually along the "corrigation" on the circumfgrence of the tube.

We can allow satellites, planets, suns, universe, nay whole systems of universe[s], to be governed by laws, but the smallest insect, we wish to be created at once by special act.
