'91 S-10 runs 2 seconds & quits, runs 2 seconds & quits. 4cyl 2.5 TBI engine. Have installed new fuel pump & filter. May have something to do with Schrade valve, but haven't found it, and need comprehensive explanation of how to rectify/correct pressure. No fault codes are showing when checked. Thanks!!

theirs another filter inside tank called fuel sock.debris field in tank, such as water or condension cause by running a low tank also low tank coondition could damage fuel pump by not running enough fuel in tank fuel pump will run hot an burn out.fuel cools the pump.

two theirs a fuel schreen up were fuel line connect to fuel rail.

three you have to determand wheather its fuel pressure problem or igination module (spark failure) problem. to determant its not module problem get a can of starting fluid same used to start desiel engines spray into intake and see if engine will stay running if it does stay running then you have fuel problem also theirs a fuel pump relay. to check turn on key so dash lights come on do not start engine listen to fuel pump if it pumps up and stop relay is working.

if relay pumps up and stops you also have fuel pressure if pump stays running you have a leak some were or pump is not making correct fuel pressure, or bad relay, suspect bad pump. so go from here and check out what i suggest .

OK Guys - Thanks for your help - Finally got it fixed. Had numerous problems.
1. Had water in gas
2. Fuel filter had been reversed
3. Broken lower O-ring on injector
4. Idle Air Valve corroded in place.
Fixing all the above (over a period of sessions) now have it running strong - see the "Goodwrench" truck searching hogeezer on Youtube
Thanks again!
