A Simple Tool Question

Hi all! I'm pretty young and I recently decided that I should start getting into do it yourself type things, and I have a really simple question. What are the essential tools to carry on a tool belt? I know it might seem elementary and maybe even a bit dumb, but I thoguht I'd get the opinion of some people who do this stuff a lot. Any response is welcome. Thanks!

Im guessing tools for around the house repairs.

First dont buy cheap tools, buy good brand names, ull thank yourself later. And brand names dont have to be expensive.

- set a of screwdrivers (no bit sets) - $20 or more.
- atleast tree pliers - (slip joint, diagonal cut and needle noes) - $30
- hammer - $30
- tape measure - $8 - $30
