my dodge has loss of power when acelling and will sometimes try to overheat when at a idoil.How can I fix this problem?

Sounds like your fuel pump is starting to fail, tscapen. Have you checked this?

2001dodge but what model (IE pick-up,van,) if its a car whats the model ???? if the rad is lower than the engine find the highest point that coolant flows @ the engine (usually @the thermostat on most cars) you should find a small bleeder valve @ the top of the housing with the engine running open the valve to bleed off any air that might be caught in the engine..good luck
