We have a 10+ year old Asko stackable washer and dryer unit. It has been in storage from 2000-2008 not being used. The model number of the Dryer is 7704 and Washer is WM200. Recently the washer stopped spinning and is spilling water on the floor. Our repair tech told us over the phone that it is the motor. A replacement motor online is $500. He will install it for another $100. My girlfriend wants to spend the money to fix the unit however, I think we are just going to be putting money in something that is already old, out of date, and not worth investing any more time and expense into. She thinks it is the best W/D she has ever used.

Does anyone have experience with ASKO units and would you invest in this repair?

Does anyone know of a place to get ASKO parts online?

Thanks for the help!!!

My 10 year old Asko washer & dryer sat out on a NYC terrace in the snow for 2 years wrapped up and when it was transported to TX and hooked up - it actually worked great -
