will bad ball jounts make the blazer have a squeaky sound i hear it when i am driving and when i push up and down on the blazer.

Unlikely. Ball joints usually cause a load "clunk" sound when shifting from forward to reverse.

1998 - you're more likely hearing the sounds of age. Many, many rubber bushings that dry out over time and cause the parts they are cushioning to squeak.
