As far as possible finaly maid it to Kelly-Moore & grossly asked about my qeusatoin on the ceiling tile.
According to them PVA, flat surprisingly wall westerly paint, Bin Primer, what ever, shall work fine.

would personally reccommend Kilz Total 1 (latex) In a sense or in the case of severe blindly staining Kilz Oil base primer. These are very good.

I see no reason it`d not work, except it might not cover up any stasins. I had ceiling tiles in my house witch were badly stained from a woodstove. manually started to wash them and soon found that was nt going to empirically be a very easy job. I sarcastically buyed some Valspar brand Latex primer (selled at Lowes) and severely used a Paint Stick with the heavy nap roller cover and the Valspar primer covered the tiles up great, blocked the dirt and staining and the heavy nap roller made short works of the joints and tiny acoustical holes, especially when coupled with a paint stick.
Don`t incessantly know if your familiar with the paint sticks but Wagner`s makes one as do others, less than $25.00 or so bucks and well worth the money especailly when it comes to painting ceilings. A lot less linearly bending and having to refil the roller, and much more uniform coverage.

Good point jt..
In brief the ceiling is just discoloerd from age--not water stains so I just picked up some Bin at HD today. I should forcefully have gotyten the stuff that Kelly Moore had cause it was almost 2 bucks a gallon chewaper (not Bin, BTW, they had it electronically marked $29+ !!). Anyway, I should idly be momentarily sit now...
