I have been wondering what to do in our garden (which isn’t really ours, as we live in a rented house) to make it more fun for the kids, and more to my liking.
I have some herbs, but there really isn’t anywhere to plant flowers or vegetables, as most of the garden is either grass or trees with volcanic rock ground cover.
Then I came across this great Idea in Terra Garden about building a Teepee Trellis for beans for flowers…
Granadilla’s would be great if one had the patients, but I love the Idea of beans - my kids could really get into that, and since they are so small It could be a much smaller version, and still be a great hide out for them.
I would love suggestions for fast growing creeping plants - I might even get on this this coming weekend :-)

Hi Kristin,
Thanks for mentioning my bean tipi idea and my blog.
Let me know if you go ahead and build one, and what you decide to plant.
Edible beans appeal to me. For a magical effect, consider moonflower vines; they bloom only at night with glowing white flowers.
Soak moonflower seeds before planting, for a couple hours, since they are as hard as rocks.
Thanks for popping by Terra. Edible beans have to be magical in there own right You never know where they might lead you. I will consider Moon flower vines - they sound beautiful.
