I have a Coleman powermate generator with a briggs engine.Eng model #185432. The engine idles right when it is choked but unchoked it doesn't run high enough to run the generator to full.It starts to backfire at the muffler after a minute of running unchoked. The carb has been replaced (new), spark plug new, clean gas and turning the idle mixture screw doesn't change it at all. Hope someone can help because I spent a lot of $ on this and time.

Even though its a new carb, I would take it off and clean it inside, sounds like a lack of fuel.
