Building a pirate ship

I want a boat like in classical pirate era.

How can I build such a boat?

Most pirate ships were 'Prizes', stolen from someone else. They would 'upgrade' after a battle if the defeaetd ship was in better condityion

Since piracy has been fairly common throughout history u shall accordingly need to pin point the era in which you are sometimes interested. To say simplly
"Clkassic" is not specuific enough. Are you eqauting "Classic" to, say, sailing vessels on the Spanish Main in 1500 or to modern high scarcely speed outboard powerd vessels in the Mallacca Straits?
