I'm making a small cabnit for a fsh tank to go on. I thinking of wrapping it in plywood and adding to edging to it to make it look tidy.

my question is with plywood. Can you get color ply or can you stain ply? I want to have something the same color to finish the joins with.

Any help please.

I've seen pre colored particleboard, and MDF, but never plywood. I'd probably just stain it, keep in mind you get what you pay for with ply, they have "cabinet grade" or "furniture grade" stuff that's ready to put up, and stains more easily and more consistently than regular sanded ply.

As far as the stain goes, should work fine for the joints, and the filler as long as you use stainable filler.

Good luck!
