my van will try to start but wont turn over. i broke down about four blocks from work. it started to lose speed and i gave more gas and it just turned off and now i can not get it to start. it is a 1988 chevy van custom 20, with a 350 engine.

sounds like a fuel pump or something in the fuel system.
