I drive a 1991 G20... i left my headlight on because it was raining then when i tried to start the car nothing happen... so i brought a new battery and when i try to start it the horn blows and i dont know what to do to get it running

Greetings TaneshaC welcome to the Forum.

WOW, that's really a wierd problem, I'm definietly going to need some help on this one !!

Does your vehicle have a security system, which may need a reset/disable prior to the attempt to start?

Could you have gotten any of the wiring associated with the terminals, not connected or connected in the wrong place?

I really don't have a clear answer for this, very unusual.

I'll drink to that one lights on discharging the battery shouldnt activate the horn when the battery is replaced. SW has the best suggestion about the alarm.
