my elec central heat won't heat, it sounds like it is runing but only blows cold air. Can anyone help?

It could be so many problems. Have you checked the contacts?

Greetings toria3, and welcome to the Forum.
1.
Check your Breaker Pannel, your Heating Elements may not be on the same circuit as is the blower.
2.
Heating Element may be bad in the Unit, takes an Ohm Meter to check those.
3.
Could be the Contactor as Jeffie said, or, the control voltage to it. Takes a Volt Meter to do that.
4.
Sure you got the TStat set to Heat, and know it's actually passing voltage.
