Is there a way to reset the check engine light on a 2000 LeSabre without a scanning tool? I tries disconnecting the battery, but that did not work!

Disconnect the battery positive cable and then turn your ignition (hold) to the on position for at least 1 minute and release. Connect the battery cable and then turn the key to the off position.
