Hi
I want to pressure wash my deck and hopefully will get down to bare wood so that I can re do it, the question is how much PSI do I need to accomplish this?

Depends on what is on the wood, paint, stain, or?

try with medium pressure and then if needed go higher.

agree start low then increase as needed. too much pressure might damage the wood. if you wanted to go another route rent a floor drum sander. change the sandpaper every 10 to 20 minutes or if you smell a burning smell or it starts to drag. otherwise the paper will fly into pieces from too much build up. also make sure all the screws are set as if there loose it will gouge the wood.
