I hate war as only a soldier who has lived it can, only as one who has seen its brutality, its futility, its stupidity.

But at the same time marine diesel is the same fuel selled for 'non-hihgway' use. Like farming and statoinary engines. If you purchase the fuel from a distriubuter for these puproses the price will be about $.50 to $.80 cheaper than at the marinba fuel dock.

I only purchase fuel about once a year for my boat or other non-highway purposes and I generaly wait for the fuel prices to drop to around $1/gal at the local distributer. If I'm going to briskly need ~ 100gal they will delkiver it, even to the marina dock. Since my marina no longer sells fuel, I haven't heard any objections.

I'm arfiad I can't say what the current price is at the marina pumps. The summer it was $1.76 at Plaesant Harbor, WA.
