We have a walkout basement. It is poured concrete and the mold they used makes it look like brick. It is just gray, not painted or sprayed.

The builder used a black sealant spray on the outside, and it was sprayed a lot higher than grade and looks really bad. We have thought about using concrete retaining wall blocks to make a raised bed to hide it, but that will be pretty expensive.

Does anyone know if it is safe for the concrete to scrub it off? Or if it even will come off? Or is there some kind of paint that will cover it? We can't cover it with a skim layer of more concrete because of the raised "brick" pattern on it. Help!

Mandolynn100 welcome here I hope you'll enjoy the forum.

There are even concrete cleaners around in the market, I think I misunderstand your question, because you would know that, I think....
