Craftsman 675 lawnmover, elctric started perfectly for a full year. Moving company stored it for 10 months,I put in new gas and it wont run after primer gas runs out. Changed plug. Still nothing. Carb looks fine. Cant see a fuel filter anywhere.
Any help ??

Sounds like the low speed circuit is clogged. If you have disassembled the carburetor cleaned and blown the circuits out and it still wont idle time for the Yamaha carb cleaner. If it still doesnt idle after the Yamaha cleaner then time to replace the carb.

there is no low speed circuit. if it runs with fuel in the primer then quits its the carb. just cause it looks good doesn't mean its good. there are small jets that can get clogged. does it re-start after priming. i say pull and clean and rebuild the carb or replace which ever is easier.

So it runs full speed at all times?

thanks guys ~ I'll give the carb a good cleaning.~ And I do believe it does run at WOT ~full throttle/speed all the time and when throttle handle is released it simply shuts fuel supply off. There is no 50% power // (right?)

yes its controlled by a Governor on the carb so it runs at a constant speed and doesn't bog down under load. some machines will have a throttle control which works the same way a car does. the more fuel the faster it runs the less fuel the slower it runs and its all controlled by valves in the carb.

If there is no lever sticking out of the carb with a turtle and hair emblem at each end, then it probably runs full throttle.
