Hello,
Have a mower that won't start. Took off Carb, opened it up too see where fuel was going.

In the process of putting it back on, a small red tube (about 4 inches long) that was sticking out the side that goes to the air filter fell out of the carb.

Anywhere know where (inside of the carb) that this tube attaches to? When looking inside, I see a small red nipple that may work (but i cant get the tube to stay on). This nipple is back inside the carb, poking up from the bottom of the opening. Also, just barely on the inside of the carb opening, there is a hole at the top. These are my top 2 suspects.

Any ideas?
Thanks!!!

looked up the mower model and got the engine info. heres a diagram of the carb.

the red nozzle goes inside the carb in one of the side holes but its hard to tell without seeing the carb. all i can say is try the different spots it will fit unless the nozzle broke off in which case you will need to remove the old piece and get a new nozzle.

FYI your engine model is 143.046702

Thanks for the help!

After putting the tube on a red nozzle in the middle of the carb (mistakenly) and then putting the air filter on, i realized the tube was not sticking out like it should. So I then found the hole near the outlet of the carb on the side like you said. Took a little work, but the tube fit back in.

After reassembling.. surprisingly enough, the mower started right up!
