Hi,

We have a deck behind our house that is about 8 feet off the ground. I've been thinking over the winter that these leaves quite a lot of space underneath that could be used- I was thinking of it as a good place to put the lawnmower and bicycles, (and get them out of the garage!) but my wife wants to put another set of garden furniture down there so that the kids have somewhere to get when we have a barbeque in the summer. Anyway, I'm trying to find out what people think is the best solution for stopping water get in from above? A friend of mine keeps recommending underdeck but I'd like to get a feel for what other people think. I'm really not very handy so ideally I'd like something that keeps my chances of screwing it up to a minimum!

Hi Chris welcome to the forum

There are many products for this. I heard that in the States Undercover Systems is at the moment the leading company for it. HERE - But, since I have never done this kind of a thing myself please don't see this as a recommendation. Just as another option

It seems that you tent to make it a store. Would you like to look through some prefab resource to find relevant ideas?

Hello Kungemini, welcome to the forum, I hope you will like it here

That is a good link. I think it would be better though if you could provide a specific link to a specific site covering Chris's specific problem
