Hello, I have come to this site today to ask for your help on building my entertainment unit / fish tank stand. Here is the design I am going for. Bare with me, I did it in MS paint in about 5 minutes.
(sorry for it being so small, in order to see it, you will need to "save as" then open it up and increase the size)
The tv is going to be on top with the fish tank on the bottom. I have ran into a problem with this design. The tank will weigh about 600lbs when it is filled with water and rocks. And I will have to do maintenance on it sometime, so I need a drawer that I will put the tank on and be able to pull it out for easy access to everything. But to my knowledge, I do not know of any single drawer that will hold a minimum of 600lbs. Please help me!!

Johnicd, welcome to the forum

It seems way more secure to me to actually build your fishtank on 'legs' with wheels (which will stand firmly on the ground) and build something around that for decoration/storage.

A drawer holding 300lbs I wouldn't trust....
