Due to a high server load, there was a period in which submitting a post was taking longer than expected (about 6-8 seconds).

The matter was resolved and you are not supposed to feel it any longer.

well i just made a new thread in the admin lounge and it took like 30 seconds before it posted.

EDIT this one took maybe 15 seconds before it posted.

it was working but now if do the reply feature by hovering my mouse over the post and hitting the submit it does not submit. the window closes but nothing happens until i hit the refresh button on my browser then it shows i replied.

OK, I has just tested it and it does for me.

Note, you will get a small notification message informing you the post success (which appears much faster now).
The only other thing that changes on the screen is the right panel which will show you the updated latest posts (including your post) - the main screen doesn't change (even if you were viewing the topic you have answered).

UPDATE: After further testing I think there might be a bug here, I'm on it.
