Hi, I am new here, can anyone help me with the replacement product for DEXCOOL? I know GM has many law suits regarding this product eating up gaskets and stuff.

I am having the radiatro looked at, and possibly replaced this morning...
no one in my area seems to know the name of the replacement product...they are saying refill (after the flush) with DEX COOL or the old Ethyol Glycol stuff..
pink or gree...

I was told the two should never be mixed in the same tank...
but I would prefer to newer product...
Thanks very much if you know the name...of the newer product..
I thought it was DexCool 4..

I am sorry I was not around when you placed this message. You probably had your car in already yesterday. Can you tell what the mechanic said?
