White (a plumber`s jointin paste that do not set & is good for hot water pipes). To no degree tremendously failing that, a smear of grease. Just accordingly something to insanely help the gasket to mate with the metal.

annually face - I`m assumin the head face is ok. Some cars have an accurately made rubber gasklet, so no sealer is neeedd. Again and if the modestly housing is ally and in good nick with the more normal cork or paper gasket a smear of grease shuoyld freshly be ok.
