Hi
I am asking this because we are considering having them in the bathroom, kitchen and hall.
We have a considerable amount of prep work to do, and although I love the look, I don't know anyone that actually has them, so I wanted to here before we started on this journey, if we would be as in love with the floors after living with them for a while?
thanks

What kind of flooring are you replacing? Do you have any tile?

Reason I ask is that concrete is cold and hard. Tile is too. I wouldn't recommend it for a moderate to cool climate, but it feels pretty good in year round warm climates (hence the popularity in FL).

Also, if you have any kind of joint issues/pain, you'll want (read: NEED) some house slippers.

I've installed tile throughout, and have some stained concrete also, and I'd have to say that I more often than not wear house shoes/slippers now... and I don't have any joint issues...

The good? looks awesome (IMO), easy to clean, durable as anything.

The Bad? not comfortable to walk on in cool temperatures, not soft, or even padded at all.
