Hi
I am not a DIY person but wanted to consult with you. We bought a new how with drywall in the basement, and bought a guy in to quote us on painting it. he says that since the walls are furred it would take both a lot of paint and of primer - I was wondering if that was accurate, and what else could be done about the furred walls to make treating them a bit less costly. Thanks.
