Please Help! I am trying to hookup a new DVD player to an older Tv (ten years old). I would also like to use a VCR and receiver so I can play everything through the speakers. The Magnovox TV only has the cable connector on it. This is why I wanted to use the VCR also. Help!!

Lee, if there is no separate input for them on your tv you have to share it by buying a video/audio switch.

you can also loop the dvd outputs into the vcr inputs. Then, turn the vcr on and select the proper input for vcr recording. It might be a channel number or an L1, L2 input. This will send the signals through the vcr to the tv.
