Hi....

I would like to share the follopwing with you :

1. Can I get rid of the engine fan and install an electric fan instead? Would

this help the engine to have more power and Less engine`s temperature?

2. If changing the fan possible, what type of electric fan should

I use? Is there enough room in between the radiator and the engine? Do I

need to change some of wirings, battery charger, relays and so on?

Abdullah,

Again I appologise for the delay in reply, my family is here, and it is difficult to go to the Computer, when I have 3 Grand Children hanging on my neck!

If you keep going, that's not going to be a M/B after you get through with it! I am just jokiing!

Well, the answer to your first question is yes, it will allow more power to the engine.

But, if the electric fan system is installed, i have not known them to be much better than a mechanical fan. If you are looking for additional cooling, i would put a fan with more Blades on it, thst will pull more air through the Radiator, and save you a LARGE job!

Besides the Electric Fans, you then must add a Thrrmocouple, and some heavy wire to operate the fans automatically. This will not be a simple task !

On the room, I can not say, you must measure the distance of the Electric Fan(s), and see if it/they will fit.

Have a good Day !

Abdullah,

Just to follow up on the application of Electric Fans...

Though there are many factors involved in their use, the original application of this equipment, was to supply more cooling air at slower speeds. Like in slow heavy traffic on a very hot day. The fans would come on, and make the air flow equivilant to a higher speed of the vehicle.

Applications of this equipment, come with one or more Fans, and they can have more than one speed. So, it is possible that you could still realize good cooling from them at a very high vehicle speed. However, they were not designed to be used for that. Most manufacturers design a "Funnel or Ram" of air from the way they set up the Grill and direct air into the Radiator from the forward movment of the vehicle to assist in cooling at high speeds.

There are very many applications and differnt set up of a vehicle, where this equipment functions well, but, it does have limitations.

I have found from my experience, since we have very hot weather here, and much Desert, that the most efficient system for this, is a Thermactic Fan (temprature controlled speed) with a Blade Set with more Blades on it. Most manufacturers have Blade sets with nine (9) or more blades available as an option.

This way, the Fan only operates when it is necessary, then giving you more power when the fan is not needed, like at very high speeds.

Have a good Day !
