Hi....every body

I knew it souds sometime strange but this is what has gone with some
mechanic. I know one of my friends replaced his car engine for Mercedes-
Benz 1990 560SEL by used one with Japanese spcefications and the " Power
Distributer " for this engine has no electrical wire connected to it, While the
old engine power distributer has a wire. The mechanic replaced engine and
he did not care of the wire. Do you think that wire is no need for it now?

have a nice day

If the car is driving properly without any problems I would say there is no need for that wire ...

But, this is only my uninformed opinion. Let's wait for the real experts on cars here

Abdullah,

I am trying to understand your words, and say that if the car is running good, then there was no need for it, as Jeffie said also.

Is the car running good ?

Thanks

Abdullah,
I am glad it is ok, and as I have said before, English is a very difficult language to speak, and write.

I'm glad that we continue to try to understand the other, and am looking forward to other Post of your questions and comments.

Have a good Day !

the wires are for ecm fuel regulation so the ecm can control use sound like and older engine.in should not been installed at all.you may get check engine light you can not correct.desiel only need fuel and air to run.once you turn it over to run it will run for ever until fuel runs out.the engine that was removed had electric fuel cut off through your key switch and delayed relay know its disabled. how are you shouting off the engine with out it.

abdullah:

another thing you might do see if the injector pump off the old engine inter changes with new motor just change pump and then you can plug in wires.

just for reference ecm (engine control management) computor.new tractors are know going through computor problems just like cars did several years back.desiel engine are a different animal from gas driven lots of cooling problems.the compression is fired by heat no electrical fire system (spark plugs)
