I need information regarding "things to know" about running sewer & water lines to my garage. I wonder if I have to have independent lines or can I hook into the house lines? The garage is at the end of the property and I wish to use it for purposes other than parking a car in. Any info would be appreciated, , so I am more knowledgable when I talk to a contractor -thank you.

Hello renogirl, welcome to the forum

I think a hook up to existing lines is usually what is done. I would advise you to invite several plumbers to come in and give you their advise (and prices) because my experience is that each and everyone will add some new view to it and in all you can make your overall decision.
