Hello , I just bought a 1994 buick park ave ultra with 75,000 miles , one owner and having sosme problems . I have always had someone to fix things but it is up to me now, so doing...or trying to do...the DYI route. My power steering is out...fluid resevoir is empty, added a bottle of fluid and drained right back out. Whats next? cant seem to find a site with pictures I can check out.,..lol...so figures this is as good a place as any to start. Learned all about adding fluids and changing tires ...but thats the extent and have been previously ripped off at the mechanics so trying this

Go to Walmart or an auto parts store and get some power steering fluid stop leak. I think Prestone makes it as well as Champion and others. It may or may not fix the problem but it's worth a try. My 300zx was leaking ps fluid, after putting stop leak in it, it doesn't leak anymore.

it may well be worth investing 20 bucks in a manual ya can get at most parts places that would include your car and various repairs including pictures! g. l.

Greetings bizzyazab welcome to the Forum.

Both the Stop Leak and Repair Manual are good ideas.

When you put that Stop Leak in next time, be sure that you've got some extra Fluid on hand.

It's possible that when you dropped that first bottle in, that it got sucked up in the works, and just needed topping off.

Let us know what happens.

Have a good Day !
