Just want to introduce myself and say hey. I am a Mill Services Technician for a local Label Stock Factory in Illinois.

My main interests are Home Theater, Motorcycles, family and Church.

I joined this forum because I am needing help with some electronics in some Fisher audio amps. These amps are older and a lot of people I have spoken with about these amps have the "Throw it away and get a new one" or "Why do you want to do that?" mentality.

This is unacceptable to me. If the amps can be fixed inexpensively... why shell out a grand for new ones?

I will be posting my questions in the proper forum.

Hope to hear from you guys.

Hi,
there is no doubt sometime it is beneficial to throw a thing rather than to repair it.The mentality throw it away and take a new one is sometime good but not always.
