I have a Husky 262xp. It would not run and the piston looked worn, so I replaced the piston and ring. It will now start, but after a few seconds it floods out and dies. I can feel and see gas coming out of the air intake. Where is this gas coming from that it could come out the intake? Gaskets look good, carburetor is clean. When I pull it over it seems to have plenty of compression. Any suggestions?

check the carb. the float could be stuck or the seat worn letting gas fill the carb and over flow.
