Hi there, I am doing a renovation on my kitchen and am looking to put my fridge on the porch (wrapped in plastic and on wooden pallettes) for a few weeks while I renovate. Will this damage the fridge? I live in upstate NY and the temps. here have gotten down below freezing in recent weeks besides all of the snow/ice. Any ideas? Thanks!

Greetings bethel welcome to the Forum.

Sure, you can put it out there, and from what I hear of the temperatures you been having up there, you could probably just leave it unplugged !

Just kidding about the "unplug" but, you don't need to wrap it up, or set it up on anything. Should operate out there, just as well as it does in your Kitchen, and probably cost you a lot less to operate, given the outside temperature.

Have a good Day !
