Furnace blower just started making noise tonight. Everything still working, just noisier. (I've isolated the noise to the fan b/c I switched it from "On" to "Auto" and the noise went away.) Could this be a lubrication problem..out of balance issue..what next? I appreciate any suggestions.

Greetings Paul welcome to the Forum.

Possibly all of the above !

That change from ON to AUTO really throws me, should be the same, when it's in demand.

Ya need to get up there with it, and have someone change the setting (make it noise up) and see exactly where it's coming from.

Have a good Day !
